Louise completed her degree in Human Biology at the University of Toronto and continued on to obtain her second degree in Athletic Therapy at Sheridan College. She then attended the Ontario College of Health and Technology to complete her diploma in Massage Therapy, and McMaster University to continue her education in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture. She independently became certified as a NATA Athletic Trainer and NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Predominantly working as a manual therapist, she has completed continuing education courses in soft tissue release, muscle energy techniques, and visceral manipulation.
Louise has had the privilege of working as an athletic therapist with the National Ballet of Canada, the University of Toronto, and Upper Canada College. She has also worked as part of medical teams for elite level events such as Canada Cup Swim Championships, Summer Swim Nationals, and Canadian Track & Field Championships. Louise has been a course instructor with the Faculty of Physical Education and Health at the University of Toronto and has coached for the U of T Triathlon Club. She is also heavily involved with emergency response training with the Canadian Red Cross and Lifesaving Society as a First Responder and First Aid/AED/Airway Management instructor and examiner.
Louise is proud to be a team therapist for the Canadian Beach Volleyball Team.
