I have been at Trikinetic since 1996 but graduated from the West Coast College of Massage in September 1992. I had the opportunity to work for 5 years in a multidisciplinary complementary medicine clinic with practitioners focused on health promotion, and practicing Massage Therapy alongside a team of traditional regulated practitioners using alternative methods. My preferred massage techniques are Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial mobilizing, and Cranio-Sacral Therapy. My philosophy is that most healing occurs when the client is out of "stress" mode and their body is allowed to fix itself. Most people find treatments relaxing and even sedating. I try to include treatment to the whole body, if possible. I am delighted to find my client base beginning to include more geriatric and pediatric clients. They are the least likely to recieve massage therapy, but we find extremely positive results. The elders are so glad to have relief from longstanding problems, and the young can prevent future problems as they are growing.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I have been practicing in the area for over 18 years and before that I was an RN for 6 years. I can usually see someone who has an emergency massage need and lives or works close to the clinic. I can directly bill Pacific Blue Cross.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

Trigger Point Release, Post MVA, Chronic Health Issues

What are you proud of in your practice?

I am confident in my ability to provide improvement to my patients for almost any problem.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

Elderly and Youth because elderly often think their problem can't be solved because their problems are so long standing and are often surprised at their improvement and youth because treatment now can prevent future problems.
