Your health and wellness are my priority once you enter my treatment room. I believe in working together to achieve your goals, and I’m thrilled you have chosen massage therapy to aid in your healing journey. Empowering each individual to take control of their health is important to me and there is often an educational aspect to my treatments. By explaining the “why and how” to each patient, I hope to inspire, and aid in your overall body awareness and can alter poor postural habits that may be leading to injury, pain and dysfunction. This education may often come in the form of home care for you! I have found that stretching and light exercise coupled with massage therapy greatly increases our likelihood for success when remedying your pain. My treatments vary depending on what you would like to get out of your session. I use a combination of Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, as well as some Swedish, to round out the treatment. I have experience treating: everyday stress, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, chronic overuse injuries, low back pain, headaches, and many others. As an athlete I have a fondness for assisting in the healing of injuries related to sports as well. In my free time I can usually be found drinking coffee, doing a crossword puzzle, playing all the sports, or going on an adventure! I look forward to aiding in your journey of recovery and to meeting you soon.
