Dr. Chen’s approach to dentistry is deeply personal. Growing up, he experienced significant dental pain—and not always in a gentle or reassuring setting. That experience shaped his mission: to provide care that minimizes fear, discomfort, and uncertainty. Today, every aspect of his practice is designed so patients feel calm, respected, and genuinely cared for. Early Life & Education Dr. Chen began his career studying biochemistry, where he developed a strong foundation in science and critical thinking. He earned his dental degree from NYU College of Dentistry, graduating in the top 5% of his class, and went on to complete advanced clinical training at Staten Island University Hospital. His education continues today through ongoing training in modern, evidence-based dentistry.
