Dr. Lea Chernoff

Dr. Lea Chernoff was born and raised on Long Island, New York, where she developed a strong foundation in academics and a passion for healthcare. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine, where she received comprehensive training in all aspects of general dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Chernoff advanced her clinical experience by completing a general practice residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. During this rigorous program, she gained extensive experience treating a diverse patient population, including medically complex individuals and pediatric patients, further strengthening her ability to provide thoughtful, adaptable care in a variety of clinical situations. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Chernoff has contributed to dental education as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Dental Hygiene Department at New York City College of Technology. In this role, she supported the development of future dental professionals while staying actively engaged with the latest research, techniques, and advancements in the field. Her involvement in academia reflects her commitment to both lifelong learning and the continued growth of the dental community. Dr. Chernoff is passionate about delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in a welcoming and supportive environment. She prioritizes clear communication and patient education, ensuring that individuals feel informed and confident in their treatment decisions. Dedicated to staying current with modern dentistry, she regularly pursues continuing education to expand her skills and provide the most effective and up-to-date treatment options, including Invisalign clear aligner therapy. Outside of the office, Dr. Chernoff enjoys spending time at the beach and staying active through activities like pickleball. She also loves traveling and exploring new places, as well as making meaningful memories with her family and friends. Her balanced lifestyle and positive outlook are reflected in the care she provides, as she strives to help every patient achieve a healthy, confident smile.
