Dr. Kennedy Chioma

Dr. Kennedy Chioma is passionate about providing patient-centered dental care that focuses on comfort, clear communication, and lasting results. He believes that great dentistry begins with truly listening to patients and understanding their goals. By working collaboratively with each patient, Dr. Chioma ensures they feel confident and informed throughout their care. As he often tells his patients, “You’re in the driver’s seat—I’m just holding the map.” Dr. Chioma earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) in May 2020. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry in May 2024, where he developed a strong clinical foundation and commitment to delivering high-quality care. A member of several professional organizations, Dr. Chioma stays connected to the latest advancements in dentistry through the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, and the National Dental Association. As a naturally solution-oriented person, Dr. Chioma was drawn to dentistry because of the immediate impact it can have on patients’ lives. Whether repairing a broken tooth, relieving pain, or restoring a smile, he values the ability to help patients feel better and regain confidence in a single visit. Dr. Chioma particularly enjoys cases where he can restore both health and function—helping patients get out of pain, improve smiles they may have felt self-conscious about, or replace missing teeth to stabilize the bite and overall oral health. His clinical focus includes tooth extractions to relieve pain, tooth replacement options such as bridges, dentures, partials, and implants, and restorative treatments including crowns and other restorations. Patients appreciate Dr. Chioma’s honest approach, gentle care, and dedication to helping them fully understand their treatment options. His goal is always to provide high-quality dentistry in a comfortable environment where patients feel respected, supported, and empowered to make the best decisions for their oral health. Outside of the office, Dr. Chioma enjoys staying active, learning about investing and personal finance, and continuing to grow both professionally and personally. He values spending time with friends and family, exploring new places, discovering great food as a self-proclaimed foodie, and keeping up with his favorite NBA teams.
