A 2007 University of Washington Dental School graduate, Dr. Fong has since been practicing dentistry in San Francisco, Seatle, Tacoma, and Bellevue. A Pacific Northwest native, Dr. Fong was born in Montana and grew up in Spokane. He completed his undergraduate degree at Western Washington University, receiving a B.S. in Cellular Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. He is an avid sports enthusiast. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, skiing, Thai boxing, and sampling the great Seattle restaurants with his wife, Erin. Dr. Fong is a member of the American Dental Association, as well as the Pierce and King County Dental Societies.

Reviewed on March 18th, 2019 • Verified patientThis was one of my best dental visit experiences. Everyone was gentle, thorough, and thoughtful. I had a hard time with getting the xrays done on my back teeth due to sensitive gag reflex and the dental assistant was understanding and tried to be as quick as possible, which I really appreciated. Dr. Fong spent a good amount of time doing the exam and did the cleaning himself. I’m used to other places where you spend most of the time with the hygienist and the dentist pokes his head in for 5 minutes. However, the dental assistant was really sweet when she had to perform the x-rays and bent over backwards to ensure I was the least uncomfortable as possible. Once I saw Dr. Fong for the consultation and cleaning itself, he walked me through the whole process, ensured i knew what he was talking about, and kept the cleaning part of the visit very pleasant. He was also very kind and we had a lot of pleasant conversation throughout the appointment. I had two small cavities, and he told me that I could come in anytime in the next three months to get them filled, that it wasn't any big rush. I appreciate the honest assessment that it wasn't any kind of dental emergency and that he didn't rush me to deal with it. He walked me through the entire appointment and gave me a Tooth Health 101 to help me better understand how I could improve my dental hygiene. During my cleaning, he would consistently check to make sure I was comfortable, offering breaks if needed. He even texted me after a long appointment to ensure I was feeling alright. After many horrible experiences at the dentist in the past, my visit to Eastview Family Dental really changed my outlook on dentist visits.
