Accent Dental Center

I tried Accen Dental Care because I was looking for a nearby dentist that accepted my insurance, as my previous dentist stopped taking all insurance and became out of network. My first impression was good — they have modern equipment, including a nice X-ray machine. The annual cleaning was okay, though the polishing felt rushed. I left the appointment with gritty residue still in my mouth, and the hygienist didn’t take the extra step to double-check or ask if everything felt clean. Overall, the visit felt quite rushed and impersonal. The most concerning part was my consultation with Dr. Lin. She told me I had six cavities. I looked at the X-rays with her but honestly struggled to see what she was referring to. Although I’ve worked in the dental field before, I’m not an expert, so I asked several times to confirm whether she truly needed to drill and fill those teeth. She said yes. I was shocked — I’m extremely diligent with oral hygiene, brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash daily — and going from zero to six cavities in one year didn’t make sense. I decided to take my X-rays to several other dentists for their opinions. Every single one confirmed that my enamel is perfectly healthy and that what Dr. Lin called “cavities” were actually just stains. I understand that professional opinions can differ, but this discrepancy is too drastic to ignore. It raises serious concerns about the ethics of this practice. Please be cautious and always consider getting a second opinion before agreeing to treatment.

I really enjoyed my visit, the dentist and the other staff were really nice, friendly, and helpful. I was only here to do a check up for my braces but they talked about my gums health too that I didn't know about, which was really nice to know

Accent Dental Center made going to the dentist way easier than I expected. The staff were friendly, professional, and quick. The dentist took time to explain everything clearly, and the whole visit felt efficient and comfortable. Highly recommend if you want great care without the usual stress.

Dr. Lin is friendly and knowledgeable. She performed a couple of examinations I’d never had done before at a dentist appointment, and I appreciated the thoroughness! My hygienist Roman was kind and explained what was happening well. As someone with dental anxiety, I felt at ease!

Dr Caballero was amazing, and I was so excited to have found a new dentist. But when I called to change my next appt, it was a whole new set of dentists and office staff, and they wouldn't say where Dr Caballero went. I found him on a google search, now at Accent Dental Center in Bothell.
