Biography

Dr. Vikhar Ahmed graduated in dentistry from University of British Columbia in 2015. Prior to this, he was an internationally trained dentist and has had ample experience in the field of dentistry.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

Dr. Ahmed loves dentistry! He will carefully examine full mouth of the patient and make a treatment plan according to the findings of the exam. Providing a clear explanation of the patient's treatment in priority is what he does best. This helps the patient understand the state of their oral health and helps them feel at ease in the next steps of their dental treatment. With Dr. Ahmed's experience in the field, he understands and thoroughly takes the time to get to know his patients and does his best to relieve them of their dental concerns and anxiety.

  • Dentist was a no-show for a confirmed appointment
Reviewed on August 23rd, 2017  •  Verified patient
The staff that handle the appointments are extremely confused. On my first attempt at email booking through OpenCare, I received an appointment confirmation. Next I was told via email that Kennedy Dental did not have the spot. When I called to reschedule they told me that the spot was available after all. Next I had to reconfirm the earlier confirmation a day in advance - which I did via email and telephone. When I arrived for my appointment they began servicing my insurance plan (not really interested in the patient). The dentist was a no-show for my twice confirmed appointment. I suspect this is to avoid me from claiming my rebate reward from OpenCare - apprently (as per Kennedy Dental) you can only submit the rebate reward request for a dentist service and not a hygienist service. The hygienist complete cleaning of only half my teeth and left polishing for the next session. On the second twice confirmed session, this time the hygienist was a no-show. I am going to find another dental office that actually knows what they are doing and actually wants to offer dental service.
