Dr. Vicky Athanasiou is a born and bred proud New Yorker. She graduated from Stony Brook Dental in 2015. Since then, she has taken advanced education courses notably in cosmetic dentistry and implant placement. Her passion is to improve people’s smiles both functionally and cosmetically. She started SMILELOUNGE with a vision to a set a new standard in dentistry. After working for several years in private practice, Dr. Vicky noticed a common recurring theme: patients are very scared of the dentist! Her goal is to change that by providing a soothing environment for her patients, where they can relax and actually enjoy their visit to the dentist.
