We try to create a calm, yet very passionate environment while striving to be a positive influence in developing a strong dental experience for both parent and child. We continue to update our skills by participating in a full range of professional development that exceeds the requirements of the Provincial regulatory agency. Dr. Chin received his dental and specialty training at the University of Michigan. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Canada, a Fellow of the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia and a former lecturer in the Faculty of Dentistry at The University of British Columbia. As a testament of his commitment to his professional excellence, he has completed the rigorous examination process to qualify him to be a part of a special group of Pediatric Dentists worldwide who have earned the distinction of Diplomat status with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has performed over 3000 dental anesthesia cases and has developed a reputation for being efficient and detail oriented. Once you have had a chance to meet Dr. Chin and his team and to see what they can do, you will soon realize that his skill set is unlike any other Pediatric Dentist in North America. From the simple to the very complex and hard to manage cases, thinking outside of the box and simplifying what may appear like a challenging situation is only a small part of what Dr. Chin can do for the kids, teens, and young adults who are part of the Smiley Kids family.
