About

Dr. Cocoa Huang was born in Taiwan and raised in New Zealand. He received his dental degree at the Gold Coast Griffith University in Australia in 2013. He moved to Whistler following graduation in 2013 and shortly after, moved to Calgary. Dr. Huang has been practicing general dentistry with Monterey Dental since February 2017, and he enjoys working in a collaborative environment with people who love helping patients as much as he does. Dr. Huang’s friendly, calming demeanor and easy communication style make him a perfect fit with our patients. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, being outdoors and, most of all, loves spending quality time with his young family. He is also an avid sports fan, who played tennis and rugby until graduating from university.

    Dr. Cocoa is great!! He’s knowledgeable and quick. He’s also funny and very gentle and understanding. He’s a great dentist and I would recommend him to anyone.

    He was amazing so knowledgable and gave me tips on how to improve my teeth health. I came in very grumpy cause my records didn't transfer over. My visit was amazing!
