Dr. Mir Dawood

Dr. Dawood graduated from University of Sydney in 2018 and he has been committed to helping patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles ever since. During his time in dental school, he participated in the Royal Flying Doctors Service, which sparked his interest in serving rural and small communities. This interest also allowed him to acquire considerable experience in the field of surgical dentistry. As a general dentist, Dr. Dawood provides a wide spectrum of dental treatments, always tailoring his approach to each patient’s individual needs. He has a particular expertise in surgical extractions and cosmetic facial therapy, where precision and attention to detail have earned him an excellent reputation among both colleagues and patients. Dr. Dawood is known for his calm demeanor, genuine care for his patients and clear communication style. Patients of all ages appreciate the way he makes their visits comfortable and informative. Beyond treatment, he is passionate about educating patients on lifelong oral health practices, empowering them to take an active role in their dental care. When Dr. Dawood is not caring for smiles, he enjoys spending time with his family and his dog, Watson, a Japanese Akita. He enjoys golfing (but only on the days he hits the ball well!) and playing soccer. He stays active in the community by coaching youth soccer and playing pickleball with locals, and his claim to fame is that he was the tallest kid in the seventh grade before he stopped growing altogether.
