About

Through her gift of communication and listening, Dr. Stenvall helps put patients at ease and loves seeing the look in a patient’s eye when they realize something isn’t as difficult as they thought it was going to be. Although a New Jersey native, Dr. Stenvall grew to love North Carolina during her undergraduate years at Wake Forest University. She then received her doctor of dental medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine before completing a one year general practice residency at a busy hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She practiced dentistry with her father in New Jersey before his retirement and also practiced in Williamsburg, Virginia for four years. Dr. Stenvall was lured to North Carolina to surround herself with family and friends who have moved to the Charlotte area over the years. She is excited to call North Carolina her new home. In her free time, Dr. Stenvall loves spending time with friends and family, including her niece and nephews who live in Matthews. She is an officer in the United States Army Reserves and is proud to serve our country alongside many other brave veterans of our country. She also can be found on the tennis court, playing the piano or curling up with a good book and her two cats.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

We pride ourselves on having an inviting, relaxing atmosphere and an empathetic staff. We work to provide dental care that improves not only your smile, but also your quality of life. Don't believe us? Check out our reviews on Google to read what our patients have to say!

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

I enjoy all different types of dental procedures and it's hard to choose one that I focus on most. Whatever the treatment our patients need, I make sure to explain it thoroughly before we begin, or I'll refer you to one of our great local specialists if it is a procedure that we don't do here at our office. Either way, we focus on doing every procedure to the best of our ability so that you get the best possible results.

What are you proud of in your practice?

We are proud to be a hard-working, empathetic team who provides compassionate, comprehensive and detail-oriented dental care to all of our patients in our dental family. We take pride in our work and that shows the quality of care that we provide every day.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

Whether it is simple restorative work, like a filling or a crown, or a complex full mouth or cosmetic case, I really enjoy being a part of the solution. I consider myself blessed to be able to make a difference in our patients' lives by helping them to have healthy, beautiful smiles.
