I am Dr. Shah and I am the principle dentist at Dental Smiles of West Loop. I hope to welcome you to our practice, however, please allow me to introduce myself. I live in the vibrant city of Chicago with my husband and two kids. Since I graduated from Dental school I always envisioned starting up my own practice. In 2007 I was able to do this in the heart of Chicago when we opened Dental Smiles of West Loop. I truly believe our practice embodies the advancements dentistry has been able to make in the last couple of years. I graduated from the prestigious University of Pittsburg School of Dental Medicine and have since worked in New York City and Chicago. Finishing dental school didn't mean I stopped learning. I really try to stay in touch with the latest developments in techniques and technology so I can serve our patients better. I have participated in numerous continuous education courses in orthodontics, endodontics and other specialties. When I am not at work, I enjoy yoga, walking by North Ave. Beach, architecture, traveling and food.
Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?
As a general dentist, I believe it is important to create a close relationship with my patients. I really enjoy getting to know you personally and through this understanding help you improve your oral health by creating a treatment plan that fits you. We have a fantastic team that can take care of you and are conveniently located in the heart of Chicago.
What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?
I usually focus on family and general dentistry and I have followed extensive continuous educational courses in orthodontics and endodontics
What are you proud of in your practice?
We are a practice for the whole family and devoted to general and family dentistry. We are able to do most procedures in-house so you or your kids don't have to be referred out somewhere else. This means treatment can be received in a comfortable and familiar environment.
Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?
I enjoy seeing every patient that comes to our practice. Each patient is unique and needs a different approach. Finding out how we can help you and your family improve your oral health is what I love so much about my job.
