Dr. Sona Bekmezian

Dr. Sona Bekmezian is a Board-Certified Orthodontist proudly serving patients at Dentistry At Its Finest in Costa Mesa, CA. She grew up in the sunny San Fernando Valley and always enjoyed visiting the dentist as a child. However, it was her own orthodontic experience as a teenager that truly inspired her to pursue a career in orthodontics. Dr. Sona earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Summa Cum Laude, from UCLA, followed by her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She then completed her Orthodontics residency at UCSF, where she also earned a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master’s in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences. She is Board-Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and currently serves as a director on the Board of the California Association of Orthodontists. Passion for Orthodontics For Dr. Sona, orthodontics is a labor of love. She finds great joy in transforming her patients’ smiles and improving their confidence. Her goal is to provide exceptional orthodontic care in a friendly, comfortable environment, making the treatment process smooth and enjoyable for patients of all ages.
