Dr. Melissa Stroup

Dr. Melissa Stroup is a fourth-generation Coloradan who was raised in Longmont. She spent many years as a competitive figure skater, an experience that instilled in her a strong work ethic, discipline, and dedication. After experiencing dental challenges herself-including a congenitally missing front tooth-Dr. Stroup came to understand firsthand the profound impact a healthy, confident smile can have on a person’s life. This experience inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry and help others achieve smiles they can feel proud of. Dr. Stroup earned her undergraduate degree from Regis University and remained in Colorado to complete dental school at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She has been practicing in the Denver area for over eight years and is committed to staying at the forefront of dentistry through continuing education and the use of the latest technologies. Outside the office, Dr. Stroup enjoys life with her husband, Tony, and their three daughters. They share their Lakewood home with their dogs and chickens. In her free time, she loves playing sand volleyball, golfing, working out, and cheering on her favorite teams-the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Broncos.
