Today was my first time going to smile crafters and I am impressed. Being neurodivergent, I tend to have sensory sensitivities and previous experiences have not been fun. Valerie was extremely kind and understanding. She made me feel safe and understood my needs. She was patient and very accommodating. At the end of my service she made sure to note on my file that I had sensory sensitivities so that other hygienist knew and how to treat me. For the first time I did not feel anxious coming into the dentist. She gave clear instructions and updated me everytime she needed to do something different. Dr. Smith was kind and personable as well. Very neurodivergent friendly.
