Dr. Dean F. Raio

Dr. Dean Raio is an Airway Health Specialist and Restorative Dentist. He received his undergraduate education from the University at Albany, majoring in Biology, and his dental education from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Raio completed his dental residency at Nassau County Medical Center and an additional postdoctoral advanced two-year residency in Temporal Mandibular Disorders (TMD) and Orofacial Pain Disorders at New York University College of Dentistry. In addition to his training in Restorative Dentistry, TMD/TMJ, and the treatment of Orofacial Pain, Dr. Raio completed advanced certification for Sleep Disordered Breathing and the diagnosis and treatment of Sleep Apnea. Dr. Raio is a Diplomate of the American Sleep & Breathing Academy. With over 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Raio is a pioneer and leading dental expert in Airway Health and serves as a National Clinical Advisor for Vivos Therapeutics. He has lectured and advised extensively to dentists throughout the United States and, in fact, internationally, in the use of revolutionary systems to alleviate and cure sleep-disordered breathing in children and adults. Dr. Raio is a strong advocate of ongoing education and remains on the cutting edge of the most advanced treatments available for the treatment of his patients.
