Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. My expertise is in creating beautiful amazing smiles, which lends to my passion, creating new lifelong confidence that changes lives. I am also the creator of the Portland Protocol system for treating sleep apnea and snoring in a minimally invasive way. I am the proud recipient of the prestigious Invisalign Doctor of the Year Award. This means that my peers are confident that my Invisalign cases produce the most beautiful and amazing smiles in the fastest and most efficient way possible. Because of my extensive clinical experience and my history of being Invisalign faculty and excelling in the Digital Smile Design residencies, I am a regularly invited lecturer at the American Academy of Clear Aligners and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Because I have been on the American Academy of Clear Aligners board, I have a unique perspective on the latest techniques, skills, and algorithms, which provides me with experience using Invisalign and clear aligners that others simply don’t have. I am also a Key Opinion Leader for both CandidPro Clear Aligners and Fotona Lasers. Our practice strives to have the latest dental and sleep apnea technology, which is why I have invested in the very latest and most advanced digital scanners used by only a handful of dentists in Oregon. We can even show you what your future smile will look like on our digital scanner on your very first visit! We also have one of the world’s most advanced dental aesthetic lasers. Fotona lasers allow us to do fillings without anesthetic, reduce snoring, reverse sleep apnea, and even reverse facial aging! I am so passionate about the Portland Protocol that I co-created the AIR Institute (Airway, Invisalign, and Rejuvenation Institute) with other world-class dentists and medical professionals. The AIR Institute is an educational institution that educates and teaches other doctors around the World to help patients reverse sleep apnea and snoring and even look and feel younger. Sleep apnea and snoring are linked to some of our society’s biggest scourges, which include heart attacks, strokes, much shorter lifespans, weight gain, high blood pressure, depression, anxiety, and even traffic accidents. I’ve educated and lectured to over ten thousand other dentists and ear, nose, and throat doctors, at all of the top conferences in New York, Austin TX, Nashville TN, Dallas TX, Miami FL, and Canada on the most effective and latest techniques and procedures for implants, clear aligners (like Invisalign and Candid Pro), and sleep apnea. My training in dentistry started at The University of Iowa, which is widely regarded as one of the best dental schools in the world. It is one of just four dental schools in the world to have all eight recognized dental specialty programs, which gave me advanced training beyond most dentists. Prior to that, I completed two bachelor’s degrees in biology and biochemistry, with minors in physics and psychology.
