Dr. Ashley Lazar was born and raised in Houston, where she attended Mirabeau B. Lamar High School, and then went to Texas A&M University and received a degree in Nutritional Sciences. After graduating early, she spent the next semester doing research at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Dr. Lazar is a 2014 graduate of the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, where she was active in multiple student organizations and outreach programs. She was vice president of Alpha Omega and the fundraising chair for Psi Omega. Dr. Lazar went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. Dr. Lazar enjoys her professional memberships, which include the American Dental Association, The Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Lazar completed an implant residency program called the Maxi-course. It is an in-depth review of surgical and restorative protocols for implants. It covers the spectrum of implant types and systems and the use of multiple types of implant systems. We are very excited to have D. Lazar brings this new technology to our practice. In 2020 Dr. Lazar received her Fellowship Award for the Academy of General Dentistry. This is a title that only 6% of general dentists achieve. She is currently president of the Houston Chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry. When she is not working she enjoys cycling, hiking, scuba diving and hanging out with her husband Steven and baby boy Jonah. She and her mother, Dr. Walters, were extremely proud and happy that Dr. Lazar joined our team at Cambridge Dental, Inc. She invites you, your family and friends to schedule an appointment for your dental needs.
