My passion for dentistry began when I observed how a winning smile could change a person’s life. I didn’t grow up visiting the dentist as often as I could have, so I didn’t have a full appreciation of the work they do. When I got older, I had a dentist who took care of me and showed me what dentistry should be. He was committed to helping me with my smile, and he changed my life. That’s when I developed a passion for dentistry—when I finally saw the good it can do and the doors it can open for people. This passion drove me to attend college at Emory University, and then earn my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2018.
