Dr. Harmik Derhartounian is the founder of Pacific Dental Group, established with the goal of helping patients in the San Gabriel and San Fernando Valleys achieve healthy, confident, and beautiful smiles. His vision in creating the practice was to provide comprehensive, high-quality dental care in a comfortable and modern environment where patients feel genuinely cared for and supported. Dr. Harmik earned his dental degree in 1993 from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. In addition to his dental education, he also has a medical background from the University of Padova School of Medicine in Padova, Italy. This unique combination of dental and medical training provides him with a broad clinical perspective and a strong foundation in patient care. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the San Fernando Valley Dental Society, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. These memberships reflect his dedication to maintaining high professional standards and staying connected with advancements in the dental field. Dr. Harmik is deeply committed to continuing education and regularly participates in advanced training courses to ensure he provides the most modern and effective dental care available. His ongoing education has focused on areas such as esthetic dentistry and conscious sedation, allowing him to enhance both the appearance and comfort of patient care. Most recently, he completed advanced training that earned him certification as an Invisalign™ Premier Provider, further expanding his ability to offer modern orthodontic solutions.
