Dr. Kakoli graduated with a degree in biology from the University of Maryland. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the school’s School of Dentistry, and he completed his residency in endodontics there after attending a hospital general practice residency at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Baltimore. He has received such honors as the Harry E. Latcham Memorial Medal for excellence in complete oral restoration, and he is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. Dr. Kakoli is an active member of the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists. His work has been published in the Journal of Endodontics.
