Dr. Riley Derks

Originally from Eden Prairie, Dr. Derks earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Minnesota's College of Biological Sciences in 2020. Following the completion of his bachelor's degree, he spent 2 years as a dental lab technician in Edina, an experience that gave him a unique perspective on designing restorations that are both functional and natural-looking through crowns, veneers, implants, and dentures. He then attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 2026 He is proud to serve the community by providing compassionate, patient-centered care with a focus on helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout every visit. Dr. Derks enjoys the variety that comes with general dentistry and believes in taking a comprehensive, individualized approach to treatment plans. By combining evidence-based dentistry with careful attention to each patient's unique needs, he strives to deliver high-quality care that promotes lasting oral health and confident smiles. Outside of the office, Dr. Derks enjoys spending time on the lake, staying active, cheering on Minnesota sports teams, and making memories with family and friends.
