Dr. Blackmon earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the esteemed Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee in 1983. During his time in dental school, he developed a strong foundation in comprehensive dental care, clinical precision, and patient-focused treatment. Following the completion of his doctorate degree, Dr. Blackmon answered the call to serve his country and did so with distinction as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force. As an Air Force Major, Dr. Blackmon demonstrated unwavering dedication to excellence while providing high-quality dental care to service members around the world. His work within the United States Air Force Dental Corps involved extensive clinical responsibilities and advanced training, all aimed at maintaining optimal oral health and ensuring mission readiness for the nation’s military personnel. This experience further strengthened his clinical skills, discipline, and commitment to delivering care in high-standard and high-demand environments. After his honorable separation from the United States Air Force in 1993, Dr. Blackmon transitioned into private practice, where he continued to build on his extensive clinical experience. He practiced with several dental associates across Southern California, including locations from Los Angeles to Palm Springs. Through these years, he refined his expertise in general and restorative dentistry while continuing to prioritize patient comfort and quality care. In 1999, Dr. Blackmon established his private practice in Moreno Valley, where he has since remained dedicated to serving his community. His approach to dentistry is rooted in professionalism, integrity, and a long-standing commitment to patient well-being.
