Dr. Minhas is a native New Yorker who grew up in Queens. She discovered her passion for dentistry in high school & attended Adelphi University as a member of the highly selective joint degree accelerated program. She graduated one year early, with a Bachelor of Science & summa cum laude honors, before going on to complete her dental education at New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Minhas prides herself on academics & graduated at the top of her class in dental school. She was also inducted into the prestigious national dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Minhas received her dental license after completing a general practice residency at the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Her vast experience at the VA enabled her to achieve immense knowledge & expertise in providing comprehensive dental care. Dr. Minhas is proficient in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign treatment, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery & implant dentistry. She enjoys working with patients of all ages & delivers a fun & comfortable dental experience. Dr. Minhas never stops learning & stays up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry by attending study clubs & continuing education courses. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association & the Nassau County Dental Association. Dr. Minhas is fluent in English, Hindi & Punjabi. Dr. Minhas enjoys volunteering & has participated in numerous community outreach programs to provide dental care to populations in need. In her free time, she likes to travel, read & explore local restaurants. She has become a creative baker, making sweet treats for her family & friends to enjoy!
