Dr. Derakshan is our periodontist. A periodontist specializes in the treatment of gum disease, and we are pleased to have Dr. Derakshan practice his specialty at Trafalgar Village Dental. With more than 30 years of experience and certification from the University of Dalhousie in Nova Scotia, Dr. Derakshan practices all aspects of periodontics, including gum surgeries and dental implants. Under his care, you will always be informed and educated about any recommended procedure and have any questions answered that you may have. When not caring for his dental patients, Dr. Derakhshan enjoys spending time with his family, which now includes three beautiful grandchildren.
