Dr. Darren Dickson

At an early age, he was fascinated with the smile transformation of his sister, Deanne, an extreme thumb-sucker until she received braces. When Dr. Darren Dickson saw the remarkable cosmetic, anatomic, physiologic, and psychological changes that took place after her orthodontic treatment, he knew he wanted to be part of the transformation process in giving others beautiful, healthy smiles as well. As his appreciation evolved into a fascination with how oral and overall health connect, Dr. Darren Dickson decided to pursue a career in the field that’s led him to become a well-respected dentist in his hometown of Plano, TX. Dr. Darren Dickson’s path began at Plano Senior High School and then Texas A&M University, where he earned a liberal arts and biology degree in 1991. From there, he completed his doctor of dental surgery (D.D.S.) degree at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas and studied dental implantology at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Throughout his career, he’s earned high praise, elected by the Consumers’ Research Council as one of “America’s Top Dentists,” voted Plano’s “Best Aesthetic Dentist” by the Star Local Media Readers’ Choice Awards, and voted “Super Dentist” by Texas Monthly magazine.
