Dr. Bishop knows firsthand how transformative a healthy smile can be. As a teenager, she was often too embarrassed about her teeth to smile confidently, but dentistry changed her life and inspired her to help others experience that same renewed confidence. For more than two decades, she has been dedicated to helping patients in San Antonio achieve healthy, beautiful smiles in a compassionate and supportive environment. Her personal journey continues to shape the way she practices dentistry today. Dr. Bishop believes in listening carefully to her patients, being transparent about every treatment option, and always acting in their best interests. She is known for her honest, compassionate approach and her commitment to helping patients feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. Outside the office, Dr. Bishop enjoys a fulfilling family life with her husband, Mark, whom she has been happily married to for over twenty years, and their daughter, Reagan. She loves cooking, spending time with family, and giving back through volunteer work in the community. Dr. Bishop also enjoys educating patients in fun and engaging ways. Alongside a close friend, she co-hosts the YouTube channel “Tipsy Tooth Talk,” where they discuss dental topics while sharing cocktail recipes, making oral health education both approachable and entertaining. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. Throughout her career, Dr. Bishop has devoted significant time to public health dentistry, serving underserved communities in New Mexico and South Texas. Her leadership roles have included Clinical Dental Supervisor for First Choice Community Healthcare, Faculty Liaison for the University of New Mexico Dental Residency Program, and board leadership positions with Delta Dental of New Mexico, where she became the organization’s first female Chairman of the Board. Today, she proudly serves patients as the owner and dentist at Ingram Hills Dental.
