Dr. Rafal Pytlik

Dr. Rafal was born and raised in Poland. He graduated from University of the Pacific (UOP) with double science major. During that time he discovered his interest in dentistry and volunteered his time at the UOP Dental Health Center after school and work hours. He attended University of Southern California School of Dentistry (USC) where his passion in the field grew, specifically towards working with and treating children. He devoted his time and skills during rotations and during his free time toward caring after low-income pediatric population in greater Los Angeles area and Bakersfield, California and after graduation continued to do so for almost 9 years in Phoenix, AZ and with Health Centers in the greater San Diego area. Dr. Rafal obtained extensive training in treating medically compromised and special needs patients of all ages during his Pediatric Dental Residency at New York University-Lutheran Medical Center in Southern California, at Rady Children’s Hospital. He is a Diplomat of American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a staff member at Rady Children’s Hospital. He is passionate and dedicated to give back to the community. He enjoys being active and living a healthy lifestyle with his wife in San Diego.
