Friendly and informative staff

The doctor walked me through all the things my teeth needed. Including papers with my copays which is nice . My cleaning was an hour long they took their time being very thorough.

Had a good dental cleaning

Everyone was very professional except for one staff member who was supposed to assist me during my exam. She seated me in the room and placed the heavy apron on me in preparation for taking dental X-rays. However, she then left the room without notifying me that she needed to complete another task. She left me sitting there with the heavy apron on for almost 15 minutes, without any explanation or notice. When she finally returned, I told her that she should have informed me before leaving me alone like that. She became upset when I asked why she had left me there with the heavy apron on and said that something had fallen and broken and that she had cleaned it up. She then left again without apologizing, another staff member came to assist me instead. I do not understand why the staff are not trained better. I expect the staff to respect patients’ time and to understand that the apron is extremely heavy and uncomfortable. If something urgent comes up, they should come into the room, remove the apron, and notify the patient that they will be back in 15–20 minutes, or ask if someone else can assist instead. She did not seem aware that she represents Fifth Avenue Dental Arts and that her behavior reflects on the practice. This was a very unpleasant experience. However, the staff member who came afterward was very professional, took care of me properly, and apologized on behalf of the office. I would expect this dental office to better educate and train their staff, as this is currently lacking.

Dr Zora is knowledgeable, procedure was painless and quick

I liked the dentist but not so much the assistant that helped take my oral photos. She was rushing, impatient and made me feel very uncomfortable.
