The visit was ok, but will probably go back to my old dentist.

solid dentist, but definitely focused on sales fairly aggressively!

I had a mixed experience at Serenity Dental Spa. The office is clean, modern, and the staff is friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. One concern was that the dentist I originally scheduled with was not the provider who ultimately saw me, without prior notice. After a routine cleaning, I was encouraged to proceed immediately with additional treatments that were not clearly confirmed as covered by my insurance. While these treatments may be appropriate in certain cases, the recommendation felt pressured and I did not receive a pre-treatment determination through my insurance beforehand. I chose to pause on proceeding with the recommended fillings after reviewing the in-house estimates more closely, as they did not appear to align with my understanding of my dental plan coverage. I would have preferred greater transparency around insurance, expected out-of-pocket costs, and whether treatments were essential versus optional before making same-day decisions. Overall, the clinical care itself was professional, but I would recommend that future patients ask detailed questions about insurance coverage, treatment sequencing, and alternatives before proceeding with same-day add-on treatments.

The office was in a busy part of downtown. The staff was kind and seemed knowledgeable. The space was a bit small and crammed. I was only a few feet away from the next patient beside me. Many treatments were recommended to me after my first appointment.

I had a mixed experience here, though the clinical side was fantastic. • Dental Hygienist & Cleaning: 10/10. I recommend them 200%; the cleaning was thorough and professional. • The Office: 5/5. The space is incredibly clean, cute, and welcoming inside. • The Dentist: 4/5. She was perfectly nice, though our interaction was brief, so I didn't get a full sense of her style. • Front Office/Check-in: 2/5. This was the weak point. The process wasn't very smooth, and I found the billing to be vague. While I understand patients are responsible for what insurance doesn't cover, they were less transparent about costs than I’ve experienced elsewhere for a standard cleaning. (if the insurance happens to not cover it… it’ll cost me ~$600 which seems high risk for a simple cleaning) Summary: The dental work itself was a great experience, but the front office interactions left room for improvement. I’m waiting on a follow-up and will update based on how the front office handles the next steps.

The staff was friendly, the office was clean, and the dentist was very professional. Everything was quick, smooth, and comfortable.

I recently visited Serenity Dental Spa for my first dental check-up in over two years. The care itself was great, and the staff is very welcoming. I did feel a bit rushed during the initial appointment and wished I’d received a more thorough explanation of my treatment plan at the time. However, I went back a few days later to get some clarity, and both the dentist and the admin team were incredibly patient and helpful in walking me through the details and my insurance. Overall a positive experience.

It was all good. However the treatment plan is over 5k

Great experience. Very thorough

The staff at the front desk were very nice & and hygienist was wonderful!

Serenity Dental was an easy and professional experience. I was able to book an appointment at a good time, and the downtown location was very convenient. Dr. Seah walked me through all of the data collected, and presented a path forward for treatment in a way that was easily understandable, and also didn't feel like a sales pitch. I'll be back!

Very good care!

It’s a wonderful dentist truly sweet people

Great office but seems a bit pushy on getting work done. They are pretty production driven?

I never had so many dental scans (all covered by insurance - Delta PPO). I thought it was excessive at first, but it ended up being great to explain any future treatment that i needed, we could look at multiple photos that all provided new information. The doctor spoke to me about everything, options, long term impacts. it was a great experience.

Very professional scanning and x-ray equipment. They gave me a personal treatment plan on what’s the most urgent thing to do and others to be done later.

My experience was very positive. I definitely recommend!

Dr. Clairis Perez DMD was very knowledgeable, attentive, and explained everything in detail. She did not rush and made me feel comfortable. She also did not sugar coat anything and told me what needed to be done now and what could possibly wait. I appreciated her honest feedback and empathy for my objections and concerns. I would highly recommend her.

The team at Serenity Dental Spa delivered on addressing my dental needs and provided a comprehensive treatment plan. When scheduling, ensure to budget ample waiting time for yourself if you book an afternoon appointment.

Quick appointment and friendly staff.

Such a great staff, wil definitely come back!

Amazing professional service

I would be weary about signing anything at this practice. They will try to push extra procedures that cost extra. I was recommended Invisalign trays because my teeth touch when I bite. And the office admin walked me through a nearly $10k treatment plan. My current insurance doesn’t cover orthodontia. I already had plans to change to a plan that does later this year. And I let her know I would be interested if my insurance covered it. And she told me to just start the treatment now and try to get reimbursed in the future when I have better insurance. Not sure that’s how insurance works? I scheduled a cavity filling for the future. But the woman behind the counter didn’t speak loudly enough for me to understand. And she had me pay for half the future procedure upfront before I left. And when I asked for a receipt there was so information for what that payment was for. If you decide like me to cancel your future appointments they won’t refund you any money. I paid for a service I will not receive. Melinda up front is a ray of sunshine! Very helpful. Dr Seah was kind enough to explain any issues she saw with my teeth and I appreciate it. Ultimately though it does seem like this practice is more interested in pushing invisaligns.

Overall experience was great. They were professional and friendly from the very beginning. Only downside was having to request for a receipt multiple times when they said it was going to be sent immediately after the appointment. It took a few days after instead.

Good dental clinic, fast appointment.

Scam !!! avoid!!! Upsale and KEEP telling me to do Invisalign treatment for half hour! This practice will try to push you really hard for expensive, unnecessary dental procedures. When I declined their recommendation they told me I had to sign a "waiver" and They didn't clean my teeth and take the insurance money. They told me it is not enough time to perform it today then if I do deep clean and payout my own pocket and they can preform now. It wasn't a waiver but rather a confirmation that I was declining what they were trying to push on me. It was nothing more than a cheap scare tactic. They are out to take your money. Get a second opinion before doing anything they recommend. AGAIN they didn't do my regular cleaning.

They just want me to sell things rather than help get better

Its modern technology

Great staff and Dentists who really know their stuff. A little on the pricey end.

The doctors here are very caring and very attentive. They are patient and are always helpful with my questions. It was my first time visiting today but I already want to keep coming in the future.
