Dr. Hanbit Chi

I’ve been going to Dr. Chi for a few years and have nothing but great things to say about his practice and my experiences there.

Very nice staff and doctor, made sure I knew what I needed going forward and took his time to ensure I had all my questions answered.

I hadn't been to a dentist in a long time but Dr. Chi and hygienist Rodney were both super helpful and explained everything that was going on with my dental health and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. I would recommend their office to anyone who needs a dentist.

Dr. Chi was wonderful. He is personable and has all the latest ideas in dentistry. Plus the view from his Alki office can't be beat!

Top-notch customer service and care. I have never been greeted with a HANDSHAKE and an introduction by a receptionist at a dentist, let alone by the technician and the doctor. My technician spoke to me in depth and pointed out the places where I was brushing too hard (like I was told to do in the past). Also, the technician didn't spray water all over my face repeatedly, polish my teeth and make me grimace/jerk back in pain constantly like other ones have (cough cough Ballard Dental Arts after they were bought out a couple of years ago). After a solid and painless cleaning, Dr. Chi took a look and followed up with some serious science explanations. He was wicked thorough in explaining why we brush, what we are supposed to be doing, and how changing how I brush will protect my teeth from further abrasion and damage. I finally understand how to brush properly and effectively, and what rinses even do for that matter. And now I'm off to buy new toothpaste, mouthwash, and tooth brush so I still have teeth when I'm old(er) and gray. Thanks Alki Dental for an amazing experience. I thought my last dentist was great and was sad when he retired, but Dr. Chi has me second-guessing my last dentist's advice. Can't argue with science, though! Pleased as a peach to find a new dentist in my new neighborhood that is so great to work with, and super happy OpenCare made this so simple to set up and find a great dentist.

My first visit, consultation and cleaning was excellent. Everyone from the front desk to the hygienist and Dr. Hanbit was very friendly. They listened to my needs and took care of me. Really great group of people.

The office was modern and clean, though parking in the area can be tough. All staff were extremely friendly, and Dr. Chi himself was personable, clear, and thorough. I walked away with a lot of great individualized information about how to best care for my teeth.
