I love being a dentist, and I hope you feel my passion for my profession. I am a dedicated general dentist who strives to ensure every patient feels at ease, valued, and motivated to achieve optimal oral health. As a clinician-scientist, I am committed to implementing the latest evidence-based diagnostic and treatment methods to treat your smile conservatively. I earned my DDS from the University of Washington in 2021, and successfully defended my PhD studying bone biology in May 2025. Prior to that, I completed a BS in Bioengineering (with Honors), also from UW. When I’m not seeing patients at Rain City Dentistry, I investigate dental materials and diagnostic technologies with collaborators at UW. I hold memberships in the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Snohomish County Dental Society, American Association of Endodontists, American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, and the American Dental Education Association. My work has received several honors, including an NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award. I have lectured on restorative and endodontic diagnosis, techniques, and materials. My background as an engineer turned clinician-scientist means I understand the strengths and limitations of different treatment methods and materials. I look forward to finally applying all this knowledge in my practice to provide excellent care. I’m proud to announce I’m a member of the Washington State Dental Association’s 2025 Leadership Institute! Using this platform, I hope to increase access to dental care and protect patient’s ability to choose a dentist that fits them, not the one decided by their insurance company.
