What makes your practice special when compared with others in the area?

We first want to express to you that we know going to the dentist can be a scary proposition. Many of you may have had bad experiences, and all of us have the heard the one or two horror stories that may or may not have happened. In any case, the fear of pain can be very real. We ask that if you have a dental need you give us a chance to calm your fear. Our goal is to take away your fear of the dentist and make your care as comfortable as possible. We also want you to know that going to the dentist doesn’t have to be painful to your wallet either. We am consumers just like you. We have to make decisions every day where and how my money is best spent. We understand that dentistry is expensive. Our approach to treatment is the good-better-best mentality. We like to tell you everything we see at once, so there are no surprises down the road. We will give you options so you can decide as to what is the best use of your money for your mouth.

What are you and your team proud of at your practice?

It is a fact that every person will have a dental need at some point in their life. Whether they act on that need is another story entirely. Even those with the most meticulous home care could get a cavity, or fracture, or wind up with an abscess for an unknown reason. Rarely does anyone escape the dreaded dental chair. Even with good home care, everyone should have a cleaning at least every 6 months. There is a whole generation out there, namely the baby boomers, who can tell you going to the dentist as a kid was not such a fun experience. Let’s face it, for some, it was downright terrifying. I want to encourage all those who have had a bad experience by saying that dentistry has changed. Our techniques are better, our anesthetics are better, and most dentists are more sympathetic to a patient’s past experiences. We are a comprehensive care dental practice. This means that we look at the big picture. We want your entire mouth to be healthy. That doesn’t mean we won’t be here to treat you should you have a dental emergency. However, our treatment philosophy is to look at your long term dental picture, and create a treatment plan for a healthy mouth now, and in the future.
