Dr. Helen Ing is the head of SGH Dental office. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular genetics and biology at the University of Toronto and did her dental training at the University of Toronto and the University of Western Ontario. Upon graduation she was awarded the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry Orthodontics prize. She was an associate dentist at several practices in Canada, the United States, and at Toronto Public Health. Dr. Ing has also published in the Journal of the American Dental Association. Dr. Ing has over 25 years of experience in all facets of dentistry. Dr. Ing and Dr. Chao are sisters who grew up in Toronto, and attended the University of Toronto together. Dr. Ing's societies include the Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association, Toronto East Dental Society and the Chinese Canadian Dental Society.

At the start, I could tell this is a very nice clinic. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Dental hygienist experienced, friendly, and personable. Dr. Ing is an excellent, knowledgeable, and honest dentist who will ensure you get the best and appropriate oral care. I was very satisfied with my visit and will continue with them.

Phenomenal experience! The staff are so kind and nice that my nerves are gone in an instant, especially Amanda on the front desk. The office is clean and ambient. Dr. Ing is so so so lovely and professional. She did a very thorough exam of my teeth and proceeded to do what I have asked for (repair of a lost filling in one of my front teeth, which she had done so beautifully it almost looks like it hadn't been touched at all). She also recommended some other important things to be done at the end of my visit and not push me like other dentists do. You literally get what you asked for. I didn't get the chance to thank her when I left coz there was another patient. Thank you Dr. Ing! You are wonderful!
