Dr. Klaiman graduated from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Dentistry in 1985. Following graduation, Dr. Klaiman completed a one year internship at the university's Faculty of Dentistry and practiced General Dentistry in Toronto for two years. He then went on to earn his certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Prosthodontics at the Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry, Boston University, Boston, MS. In 1990, Dr. Klaiman began his career in Prosthodontics in private practice in Toronto. His professional experience also included a part-time teaching appointment at the University of Toronto where he serves as a clinical instructor for the Department of Prosthodontics. He has also held presidential and executive positions for the Ontario Association of Dental Specialists, Ontario Study Club for Osseointegration, Toronto Dental Seminars, and The Association of Prosthodontists of Ontario. He has lectured to numerous different organizations throughout his career. Dr. Klaiman's current licenses and credentials include a Specialty Certificate in Prosthodontics (Ontario), R.C.D.S.O. registration and a Fellowship of Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
