Dr. Shannon Hobbs received her doctorate in dentistry at the Université Laval in Quebec City. Having been born and raised in Montreal, she mastered the French language while completing her dental degree, and went on to win multiple scholarships including the Lojiq Scholarship for International Projects. During her studies, Dr. Hobbs had the opportunity to complete a residency in Paris, France at the Hôpital Louis-Mourier in association with the Université Paris-Descartes where she honed her skills in the emergency treatment of medically-compromised patients. Dr. Hobbs has received additional training in aesthetic restorations, endodontics, temporal-mandibular disorders and orofacial pain. She is currently certified in Botox, Juvederm, Invisalign, medical emergencies, nitrous oxide sedation, restorative implant dentistry and advanced methods in porcelain veneer design.

I am so happy to have found this dentist in Toronto! After moving from my hometown 3 yrs ago I had to find a new dentist in the city that I could trust. After 2 unsatisfied visits at other clinics, that welcome and treatment that I received from Dr. Hobbs and her team was amazing. Definitely won't regret it and am already looking forward to my next visit - and I never thought I'd say that one day!

Considering I decided on visiting Dr. Hobbs based on proximity and her having an open appointment the next morning, I pretty much hit the jackpot. Dr. Hobbs and her staff erased any apprehension around my visit with their warmth and professionalism. Dr. Hobbs took the time to give me every detail I needed and I never felt like anything was rushed or skipped over. Once her work was done, Dr. Hobbs provided a referral for some more specialized work on my wisdom teeth, which I really appreciated.

Came in, filled out papers wrote insurance info. Told her about my last negative open care experience as anxious client. She did her best to make me feel at ease. I was told to purchase a night guard for 273$ and pay a down payment. I got a filling put in and my total bill for the visit came to $559. They do not bill directly to insurance which was my only annoyance. Also - no care package and I was praying for a tongue cleaner! (Haha not relevant though). No direct billing was my only reason for not giving 5 stars. Otherwise a very pleasant experience and as an anxious client whom has a dentist phobia, I felt as if I was chatting with a good friend.

Everybody at Dr. Shannon Hobbs' office is very nice and welcoming. Dr Hobbs take the time to explain everything and is as gentle as she can. Her assistants do a very good job as well. Great dental office that I highly recommend.

Glad I chose Dr.Hobbs as a dentist just because of the youth she has and the relatablitily she has to me as a student. She did not discriminate me at all and was really chill about everything I said to her, bad or good. Do not regret the decision I made to stick with her. She will definitely be my dentist for a while, can not picture myself with anyone else. Thank you Dr. Hobbs for making me feel better about my checkups than I usually am!
