About

Dr. Isabella Wang owns and operates Deerwater Dental Wellness, a complete dental health practice in Vancouver, British Columbia. Since 1996, when Dr. Wang left her home town in Quebec to start her career and open Pacifica Dental Centre now re-named to Deerwater Dental Wellness in Vancouver, B.C., Dr. Wang has become one of the leading dentist in Vancouver by taking an advanced multi-disciplinary approach to oral health care specialising in chronic pain, sleep, airway, and restoring function, comfort, beautiful smiles, and harmony in the body. Dr. Wang’s protocols include: treatment and management of the head and neck pain related TM (Temporo-Mandibular) and sleep breathing disorders. Most of the patient’s who have suffered for more than 20 to 30 years of chronic pain have consistently experienced significant to complete resolution of their symptoms. Team members and patients have marvelled at Dr. Wang’s superlative skills transforming her patients through wellness dentistry. In addition to the above, Dr. Wang hones her skills in different disciplines in dentistry from general dentistry, periodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, advanced regenerative surgery of the gum and bone (soft and hard tissue) and implantology. Dr. Wang takes a step-bystep personalised approach to attain the patient’s overall oral health goal through the comfort of conscious oral sedation if the patient so chooses. Dr. Wang herself has overcome her own chronic pain since being injured at a young age in martial arts and sports where she had severe osteoarthritis of her knee where she suffered personally for more than 20 years with TMD, chronic headache and spinal dysfunction resulting her to become a seeker and an avid learner of advance treatment protocols from the top specialist in North America. After exhausting all the different typical departmental approaches which were limiting in the results, Dr. Wang was fortunate to have come across advance regenerative medicine through platelet rich plasma and autologous stem cell therapy and a systematic approach to the body’s prioritisation and structural compensation. This lead to treatment direction according to what the brain perceives as highest priority and resolution of chronic conditions. She understands what is required to restore the harmony between the functional planes of the body: neurologic, musculo-skeletal and circulatory. Dr. Wang attained her Doctorate in Medicine Dentaire (DMD) in 1996 at the University of Laval in Quebec, Canada with awards and recognition from The American Society of Dentistry for Children, American Academy of Oral Facial Pain, Academy of Operative Dentistry, Quintessence Award for Academic Achievement. She continued her education and pursued numerous post-doctorate continuing education courses, seminars, and residency programs: Dr. Wang is a graduate of The Pacific Implant Institute in Vancouver, B.C. successfully completing courses in advanced Implant surgery (Bone Harvesting & Autograft, Implant Placement, Sinus Elevation Grafts, Soft Tissue Management & Xenograft, Advanced Autograft, Phlebotomy, Head & Neck Anatomy - Cadaver Course), Masters program in oral implantology, Orthopedic Engineering and Treatment Planning,
