Dr. Jonathan Lim was born in South Korea and immigrated to Canada in 2006. Since then, he was raised in Vancouver, BC. Since high school, his love for Fine Arts and Sciences has kept him motivated to become a dentist with strong scientific knowledge and exceptional hand skills. Dr. Lim graduated from the University of British Columbia with an undergraduate degree with Distinction in the Integrated Sciences focused on Human Physiology and Microbiology. Afterwards, he pursued further education to obtain the Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia. During his study, he received multiple awards for his clinical achievements in a wide range of dental fields including prosthodontics, gold foil, and ergonomics. Dr. Lim is actively taking continuing education courses to expand his knowledge on patient-centred, comprehensive treatment. He is currently a member of the BC College of Oral Health Professionals and the British Columbia Dental Association. He enjoys playing hockey and piano in his free time. He also likes to go on picnics to enjoy the wonderful weather in Vancouver. He is fluent in both English and Korean.
