Dr. Mariah Flynn

Dr. Mariah Flynn, DMD, is dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based dental care in a welcoming and patient-centered environment. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor in 2019 before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2025. Dr. Flynn's passion for dentistry grew from her love of fine arts, particularly drawing and painting. She was drawn to a profession that would allow her to combine an artist's attention to detail and design with meaningful, relationship-driven work. Today, she brings that same precision and creativity to clinical planning while building trusting relationships with her patients. Her approach to dentistry is rooted in transparency, patient education, clinical excellence, and long-term oral health. Dr. Flynn believes patients should feel informed and confident in their treatment decisions, and she takes the time to create a clear plan tailored to each individual's needs. She especially enjoys caring for families and patients who may be new to dental care, providing a gentle, personable experience supported by modern technology and evidence-based practices. Dr. Flynn has a particular interest in restorative dentistry, Invisalign, and dental implants. She enjoys Invisalign because it gives patients an active role in their treatment and allows them to look forward to seeing their progress. She is also drawn to dental implants because they combine treatment planning, advanced surgical techniques, and restorative dentistry into a comprehensive treatment journey. Outside the office, Dr. Flynn enjoys exploring the city through food and fitness, trying new restaurants with friends and family, playing club tennis, and discovering new running routes around Washington, D.C. She also loves spending time with her Yorkie and is passionate about mentoring aspiring dentists as they pursue their own careers.
