Dr. Rebecca Salzman, DDS, brings her unique blend of art, science, and patient care to Washington Metro Dental. She has always been driven by her passion for the intersection of these fields and chose dentistry to marry her love of helping patients with the pursuit of aesthetic improvements. Dr. Salzman earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Claremont McKenna College before conducting malaria research at the National Institutes of Health. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland Dental School and completed a general practice residency at Christiana Care Health System in Wilmington, Delaware. Dr. Salzman practiced general dentistry in Charlotte, North Carolina, for five years before returning to Washington, DC, to join Washington Metro Dental. Dr. Salzman stays at the cutting-edge of patient care through continuing education programs, including the Kois Center and the Greater Washington Academy of Dental Studies. Her dedication to excellence ensures that patients not only receive high-quality dental care, but also enjoy a welcoming and reassuring experience.
