Dr. Sharan Gill

Dr Sharan loves many facets of dentistry but mostly enjoys getting to know her patients. Whether a patient’s concern is cosmetic, restorative, or a dental emergency, she creates a genuine connection with her patients and provides them with the excellent, individualized care they need. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery (BDS) at Baba Farid University in India in 2006, she pursued her Master's in Oral Pathology from Gujarat University, India, in 2010. She comes with extensive experience regarding a variety of oral lesions, including screening and diagnosis of oral cancer. She moved to Canada with her family and decided to challenge the strenuous and often demanding National Dental Examination Board (NDEB) Equivalency Exams and since has been practising as a licensed dentist in Canada. At Waterloo Dental, she will always put your needs and goals first. Dr Sharan believes that learning is always lifelong, and she is continuously upgrading her skills by attending various continuing education courses through the University of Toronto and the Ontario Dental Association. She is also an active member of the Waterloo-Wellington Dental Society. Apart from dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family, doing fitness training, enjoying the outdoors, and everything Kitchener-Waterloo has to offer.
