About
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Dr. Shuit started her studies at McGill Univeristy with a degree in Biochemistry. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The University of Western Ontario. Dr. Shuit continued her studies with an advanced education in general dentistry residency (focusing on cosmetic dentistry) at the University of Michigan. Dr. Shuit is a member of several dental organizations, including the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), Ontario Dental Association (ODA), the Waterloo Wellington Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In her spare time, she enjoys keeping active with running and yoga, as well as travelling, reading, and cooking. She now calls Waterloo home with her husband and 2 sons.
