What makes your practice special when compared with others in the area?
The team of experts at Westlake Dental proudly provide an array of amenities for families. From simple check-ups to advanced 3D implantations, the friendly team can help brighten and improve your smile. Fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, onlays, Zoom teeth whitening, invisible braces, dentures, and bite balancing are some of the many professional services Westlake Dental has to offer. Protecting your teeth is of utmost importance to Dr. Constantinou; he understands that unique circumstances such as grinding teeth, clenching, and even snoring can be solved with custom-fit mouth guards. By utilizing the latest in technology, Dr. Constantinou is able to design, engineer, and fit dental implants to replace damaged or missing teeth. As one of the fastest growing specialties in dentistry, it’s imperative to have access to technologies such as 3D imaging and CEREC machinery – both of which Westlake Dental provides in-house, which allows for quick turn-around and proper treatment. Having the ability to create a tooth that will fit perfectly between surrounding teeth and roots makes Westlake Dental a stand-alone when it comes to patients looking to stabilize and revitalize their dentures.
What are you and your team proud of at your practice?
Dr. Constantinou’s first task upon heading up the practice in 2013 was to gather the entire staff as a group and craft a mission statement to define their culture, which he describes as “very non-corporate.” The group approach is to treat patients like family, providing the best-case synergy of technology, relationships, and compassionate care. Every morning the team goes over the day’s schedule and discusses the patients they will see. This is usually a time to compare notes on teeth, but also a time to discuss the patients’ overall wellbeing as well as personal information, such as sports they like, subjects in school if they are children, and social talking points if they are adults.
