Biography

I have been involved in the PT profession for over 21 years when I began as an aide in an inpatient Rehab hospital while attending college and grad school for PT. I graduated from a PT graduate program from Rutgers and UMDNJ in 1999 and quickly began working as a PT at an inpatient PT facility. I soon took on senior responsibilities and the role of wheelchair clinic coordinator where I was performing comprehensive wheelchair and seating assessments for patients. I also began working in home care treating patients in their homes. I have since worked in Home care, inpatient, outpatient and nursing home settings. I have gained extensive knowledge in treating patients with a variety of conditions including strokes, cardiac conditions, musculoskelital conditions, balance and gait dysfunctions and post surgical conditions. I opened my own practice in 2006 and have been growing as a practice for the past 9 years to provide effective and quality PT care for the residents in the lower Bucks county region. I have been married for 19 years and have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, ages 15, 13, 10 and 4. I am a huge Celtics, Mets and Eagles fan and enjoy playing recreational sports, church activities and enjoying time with my kids and family.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

I perform a comprehensive evaluation to determine the condition/conditions that patients are presenting with. I tend to spend a good amount of time taking an extensive history on the patient to better understand why they are coming in for PT and to find out exactly what area in their daily lives have been affected by their impairments or injuries. Once I determine what is going on and what needs to be worked on, I develop a very individualized program to treat the patient's condition. My treatment approach is very individualized to meet each person's needs.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

Comprehensive manual treatment to include stretching and massage Comprehensive exercise instruction with individualized focus on patient's needs and creativity to achieve all goals Variety of balance exercises and core stability exercises

What are you proud of in your practice?

We are most proud about what our patients have to say when they have completed their therapy! "Brian, you are a miracle worker! You are the silver lining in my sorry injuries!" - Kathy, Langhorne "After seeing Brian, my back pain has significantly reduced and the overall quality of my life has improved!" - Kevin, Newtown "Thank you for everything! Appreciated your patience and how attentive you were - would highly recommend!" - Laura, Wrightstown

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I really enjoy treating most cases, mostly because I enjoy a challenge and trying to help patients with multiple impairments. If I had to pick a couple areas, my favorite cases are neurological impairments such as strokes, Parkinson's and other neurological impairments. I really enjoy working with balance and gait deficits as well. The other area that I enjoy treating in ankle injuries, because I like finding ways to challenge balance and strength.
