Dr. Connie Yong

Dr. Yong has been in dentistry for more than 10 years and is a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. In that time, she has worked as an associate, a partner and as an independent owner, and has opened three successful offices of her own including locations in Uxbridge, Port Perry and most recently, in the community of Aurora where she and her husband are raising their two young sons. Dr. Yong is a general dentist, but her passion is orthodontics. She is excited to share her passion for oral health with her clients through new techniques and continued professional development. Warm, friendly and always putting patient care first, Dr. Yong is the kind of dentist who helps you feel at ease the moment she walks in the room. When not helping patients, Dr. Yong enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.

Why should patients choose you as their provider instead of others in the area?

As a mother of two little boys and an owner of two other successful dental practices, I understand what makes for a long term, caring relationship. A good relationship is based on trust and honesty. It is important to understand what you as a patient need or want and then be able to provide options that suit you and your budget. Patience and flexibility are also very important as going to a dentist can be a stressful experience. I want your experience here to be as comfortable as possible so that we can work together as a team to create that happy and healthy smile.

What are the top 3 treatments that you focus on?

As a general dentist, I am able to perform procedures in all fields of dentistry. The learning never stops. I have had extensive training in orthodontics, including Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry and endodontics.

What are you proud of in your practice?

Essence Dental is a new office in Aurora, Ontario. With state of the art equipment and a modern, relaxing decor and friendly staff, you'll feel like you are visiting friends instead of seeing a dentist.

Which cases do you enjoy treating? Why?

I enjoy creating beautiful smiles by straightening teeth. Straight teeth are easier to keep clean and healthy. While the appearance of straight teeth can be created in a number of ways, braces or Invisalign can achieve this while maintaining your natural tooth structure.
