Born in Boston, MA and raised in Claremont New Hampshire, he attended the University of New Hampshire, where he was a member of Signa Nu fraternity. After graduating from UNH with a B.S. in Biochemistry, Dr. Babineau had the opportunity to move to Boston to attend dental school, and there he met his future wife, Dr. Lori Babineau. He graduated with his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and had an opportunity to practice in the private practice of a faculty member in the Restorative Department at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. This experience in working closely with an highly experienced clinician provided Dr. Babineau with the foundation to treat challenging and complex dental cases. While the experience of living in Boston was exhilarating both academically and culturally, Dr. Babineau was anxious to move to Texas, where his wife was born and raised. Dr. John Babineau and his wife, Dr. Lori Babineau established their practice in Austin in the early nineties and have practiced together until 2018. Dr. John Babineau has another dental business that helps the Military Reserves and National Guard maintain their dental readiness. There was a need for him to help out in this business so he left private practice for about a year to help with “growing pains”.
