Dr. Jessica Thomas

Dr. Jessica Thomas wanted to be a dentist from a young age and continues to enjoy learning more about her chosen field. While Dr. Thomas practices general dentistry, she has a particular interest in pediatrics, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. She enjoys developing relationships and getting to know her patients. Through communication and sharing personal experiences, she endeavours to make a visit to the dentist less stressful. Every person is different, and Jessica appreciates each of her patients’ individualities. She makes every effort to provide a personalized approach to each of her patients. Dr. Thomas was born and raised in Calgary but attended university in the United States, where she earned her BSc in Exercise Science. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she attended dental school at the University of Alberta, graduating with her DDS degree in 2006. She also shared her knowledge with others, while teaching at Dalhousie University School of Dentistry in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Dr. Thomas has a number of interests and hobbies. She lives with her husband and two cats and enjoys time with them. She is also the oldest of six children and loves to spend time with her six nieces and eight nephews. Jessica plays the piano and is qualified to teach the Royal Conservatory piano curriculum. As an undergraduate and high school student, she taught piano lessons. Jessica also loves learning, music, reading, writing and other artistic pursuits like refinishing furniture.
